THE GREAT SAS-y DESIGNER CONTEST...

I have great news for you all. SAS, as you know, are running a wonderful competition for NEW DESIGNERS. Stage 1 is about ready to close but I can tell you, its NOT to late to apply. Even if you're new to designing, don't be shy, give it a go. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn, have fun, make new friends and maybe, just maybe, get that oh so desirable status of DESIGNER. Trust me, you won't know unless you give it a shot. Look at me. If I can do it, anyone can so come on gals (and guys), there's still a little time left to get your kits in. Don't delay, it could change your life.

To enter, simply register at SAS and go to the Contest thread for details on how to enter your kit. Click here to go to SAS and the very best of luck to you all. I can't wait to see what you all come up with. Or If you have not registered you can still take part in the contest, just e-mail JulieO at stoneaccentsstudio at hotmail dot com and she will send you the information you will need, then have your entry posted by Friday Nov 30th at 10 a.m.

Blog Header

Somebody asked me about my Blog Header. My apologies for not naming you, I havn't yet mastered doing more then one thing at a time (LOL) so I can't pop over to my blog comments to see who it was but in answer to your question. I used parts of various freebie kits I've collected over time and scrapped it like I would any lo. I can't remember the size I used for the header now but if you have blogger, you can 'customise' your lo including your header to your own style. Just go to 'TEMPLATE' and follow the instructions there. I hope that helps somewhat. I'm sorry I can't do more at the moment for you. It's like the blinkies, I kinda fell onto the tut and somehow came up with this but I can't for the life of me remember quite what I did..... lol. I am pretty sure I have somewhere a great site full of Blog tutorials for designing your custom blog. If I can find the link and its still active, I'll post it as soon as I can.

Blinkies

Now, some of you asked about Blinkies. Well, as you can see, I don't have a Blinkie at the moment, not for lack of trying, you understand but to be honest, I am totally useless at this animation thing. I know, I know, you find that hard to believe, right....... lol. Well, its true. Now, its interesting that that you should have asked about it. Remember in my previous post, I mentioned a competition??? Yup, you guessed it, thats what my competition is all about.

I need two Blinkies.

1 for my blog fans to snag
1 for my new CT team

Here's what I'd like you lovely creative people to do.

Catagory 1

Create a Blinkie using any part of my Moments Collection, (downloads are still available, just scroll till you come to it)

The Blinkie should have on it the words 'I'm a fan of BooLand Designs' or something similar. Remember, I'm into butterflies and Blossoms so if you get those into the blinkie, thats BIG points for you....

..... a reminder of the kits you can use to create the Blinkies. Please ONLY use my kit and a free use font.

Catagory 2

Create a Blinkie for my CT team using any part of my Moments Collection. As above, try and use the butterflies and blossoms and the wording should be something like 'I'm a Booland Blossom happily creating for BooLand Designs'

You can enter one or both catagories for this competition and you can enter as many times as you want. The more the merrier.

And what do you get for all your hard work?

Check it out..... You get to choose any kit from my store (excluding commercial use, which is ok cause I ain't' got any yet lol) Yes, I did say ANY kit. Thats 1 complete kit of your choice from my store for EACH catagory. So, if you enter both catagories and win, you get TWO complete kits. Now, is that a competition worth entering?

The deadline for all entries is 7th Dec and Winners will be notified by the 10th Dec. Good luck everyone and to wet the appitite, here's a little look at what you could soon have.... Finally, a freebie and My BIG News......

First of all, let me apologise for being away sooooooo long. Oh boy, I've had a mad, cerazzzzzzzzzy couple of weeks of it as you're about to find out. Also. A HUGE Thank You to all of you who downloaded my little kits, WOW, over a thousand a piece and especially to you special people who took the time to leave me a comment. OMG, Sooooooooooooo much has happened over the last couple of weeks I swear I think I saw myself coming back several times, hehe.

Ok, for those of you who read the SAS newsletter this week, you will of course, know already but for those of you who missed it, I promised you BIG news and yeah, I admit it, I've been teasing ya'll with little tid-bits and what-nots but the time has come to reveal the BIG Secret.

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did it girls (and guys) I finally made designer and I can't think of a better place to be then SAS with its great team of Designers and all its lovely members. Honestly, if you've not been yet, pop on over there but be warned, take your slippers and hot chocolate cause once your there, you will NOT wanna leave hehe.

Now, what does this all mean to you guys? Well, thats a good question. Honestly though, do you think I'd let all my little scrapateers off the hook so easy, Nahhhhhhhhhh no way Hose.......

This is how I think it will work. You guys let me know how you feel about it all, ok.

I'll be designing my kits now for sale at SAS, and let me tell you, I've already been mad busy creating. This does NOT mean my freebies will stop, oh no, you just try and stop me. After all, it's my party and I'll give away if I want to, right ladies?! So ofcourse you will still get your little freebies from me but I do hope you'll pop along to my store and check out my products there. I think you'll be very pleasently surprised. SAS prides itself on providing Quality with Value for Money so you'll find great kits there for a really good price.

On top of this, you will find that I'll be posting some great samplers of my new kits right here on my blog for you all to enjoy. Well, just how good can things get I hear you ask?
