Hello Everyone and a very Happy Valentine to you all. Wow, can you believe I almost missed todays post. Its nearly midnight here in England but boy have I been having problems with the internet this week. My mum tells me its because Mercury is retrograd until the 18th of this month and that apparently means bad communications, hmmmm, I think she has a point, lol

Anyway, better late then never I always say so today I have a couple of cute ribbon fasteners for you. These are so cool for pinning photos to lo's etc. Very versitile little goodies. I love them. Tomorrow I have yet another treat for you and trust me, these get better as the days go on so be sure not to miss out on them. Day 1 and 2 will be leaving the site tomorrow so make sure you grab it now. Once its gone, its gone.

You can grab your goodie here or click on the preview. As always the password is 100freebies
And heres another gorgeous lo using Grandad by my Blossom Petra.

SAS News
Honestly, I do not know how those fantastic Designers at SAS do this every month and yet they do, come up with an even better mega kit then last months. This month our mega Kit is in such beautiful shades of coffee browns and buttermilks with a hint of the most gorgeous blues its just lush as my pal Selena would say.

Just have a little look at Mother Earth and tell me you are not drooling at the mouth to own this utterly gorgeous whoppa of a kit. Well, you can for the amazing price of just $6.95 but grab it quick because it can't stay at that price for long. Normal price is $9.99 and even that means that this months mega kit costs just 5cents per piece, now hows that for fantastic value for money? You can find it here By the way, the store lists the kit as 89 somthing papers and 91 elements but I can tell you there are actually 101 papers and 107 Elements. Ahhh, thats Julie for you, lol, can't count when shes tired (thats her story anyway, hehe, she should have gone to my school, then we'd all be in trouble as Jan will tell you lol)

And be sure to check out JulieO's blog for a wonderful Mega Kit freebie. Ha, so Mercury thought he could get the better of us huh ladies, I think not hehe.

Be sure to check out the other SAS Designers too as I know they have some treats on their Blogs for you. You can find all the blog links here Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and there we all are, cool huh!

100 Days of Freebies

Its the Blog event of the year
A 100 Day Freebie Fest
to celebrate the life of My Grandfather

My Grandfather was an amazing man. Born on February 11th 1908 and baptized Percival Clarence, with a mop of curly blond hair and the brightest blue eyes you ever saw, you can imagine the teasing he got as a child, especially when part of it was spent in a Leeds Orphanage after the death of his mother during childbirth.

Grandad was a determined young fella and promised himself once he'd grown no one would ever tease him again. In his twenties, he changed his name to Peter and took up boxing earning himself quite a reputation as a heavyweight. His idol was Ali and I remember many Boxing day Nights watching an Ali fight with Grandad.

He was a self taught man like his own father and brothers and whilst still a young man, set up business as a grocer. He soon became established as a Master Grocer and eventually moved to my home town of Southport to set up a popular Grocery Store in the center of town.

He served with the Royal Air Force during WW2 and was proud of his contribution.

He was a very forward thinker. Always fascinated by space, the universe and its possibilities. One of his hero's is the famous Patrick Moore from Sky at Night and I'm sure this is where I get my love of stars and space from.

He loved to read and write and would have adored the internet, oh, what long in depth emails we would have got, lol.

He was such an active fit man that no one doubted him when he said he'd live to be a hundred years old. After all, it was in the Charnley genes. He walked everywhere, or rather 'marched'. He swam a mile everyday. He loved to shop for the 'old folk'. He loved his church and whilst he could be a stubborn old s0-and-so at times, he was the sweetest Grandad in the world.

The thing I remember best about him was how much he adored my Grandmother. They were married for over 50 years and on their Golden Wedding Anniversary, he had us all in tears when he said 'I only wish there were 50 more'

I miss him but somehow I know he's still around, clocking up the time until his 100 years are done. Grandad, its time. This is for you.

This mega kit was created to commerate what would have been my Grandfathers 100th year. He loved the colours Purple and Blue and he adored anything to do with space so you'll find lots of sparkles and spacy things included. But thats not all. He couldn't be kept out of his precious garden, rising with the birds each day to tend it. So you'll find plenty of gorgeous flowery things too, perfect for all your girly lo's.

The mega kit comes with a fantastic set of 12 4x6 brag book pages especially created for you by my Blossoms Rusty and Michelle. You get this FREE with your kit purchase. find out more here

You'll also find in store a FREE Grandad Sampler just to whet your appetites.

(This will be added soon so check back)

Here are just some of the lo's my Blossoms have created with this kit

We'll have more wonderful lo's for you throughout the Blog Festival and please, feel free to subit your own lo's using the kit/freebies. We'd love to see what you do.

DAY ONE

Here is your first of 100 freebies. Each freebie will be available for ONE DAY ONLY so be sure to grab it. All the freebies will co-ordinate in some way to the Grandad Kit, either through colour/style/subject etc but there is something there for every type of event. This will be the BIGGEST kit ever. A little update for you.

Carmen, I'm so sorry you're having problems with the password hun. Unfortunately, I have had to add a password to my kits now due to some folk filching them and claiming them as their own work. Its a sad and all too common feature of this wonderful world we live in. I can tell you that 4shared were having some issues a couple of days ago, I was late with my post because of it so don't give up, try again ok.

I also know a couple of you have had problems with previous kits being too large for those of you on dial up. I apologise for this. Unfortunately, although I've tried, there is so much work involved in re-zipping to smaller files with all of my other commitments that I just don't have the time to change previous freebies. However, from this kit on, i will try to keep all the files to 20mgs or less. The odd one or two may be around 21mgs. I have also popped all info into a seperate zip. You MUST grab it for the TOU etc but after that, well, we all do it, delet what you don''t need. Hopefully, this will make it easier for all to enjoy the kits.

Huggles
