New's, LO's and Freebies too....

Hello again sweet scapateers.... and how are we today?

Well, I'm pretty good. Had a bit of a week of it but if you carry rubbish around with you it tends to get darned heavy after a while so I decided to let it goooooooooo......... lol. Boy does that feel so much better.
On the other hand, my Sweetie has been a complete Darling this week. I've had pressies, a book signed by Nigella Lawson, Oh I wanna be that woman, a huge bunch of gorgeous flowers deliverd, dinner cooked, the list goes on and I'm loving every moment of it. How LUCKY am I?!

This week I decided to do something a little different so instead of showing off all my layouts I thought I'd 'SHOWCASE' the fantastic Designers over at 'SAS'. Ok, so they're still 'my' lo's lol, but I wanted to give you a little peek at the wonderful work these gals do. If you are not familiar with their work, you should be because OMG, this is a whole bunch of talent and lushness in one super place.

SAS Designer's Showcase...
So here you are in no paticular order....

Grandma's Little Princess, this is my mum and dd, Elly sharing one of those wonderful Granny/Granddaughter moments. Ahhhh,, hugs all round. And for such a cozy moment, Lisa's adorable Lavender Fields kit fitted perfectly. This little beauty is available on her blog.

Remember how... My dear friend and adopted sister Julie tries on her new wig after losing her hair during cancer treatment. This girl is a nut of the first order and one of the lovliest people I have had the honour of knowing and calling 'Friend'. JulieO is well known for her amazing blog freebies and let me tell you, this kit is no exception. It's so delicious my mouth waters just looking at it. Go on, I dare you to try it for yourself.... woops, are you drooling???

I know Julie and the admin team have been feverishley working away over at SAS to make it a real 'happenin' place and there have been some cool changes already but I can tell you all a little secret. SAS is growing up bless her. We are going to be having some amazing new challenges coming up, Ye Gads, those Designers never stop working.... lol. We have also had a newsletter revamp and it looks sweet. There are tons of great giveaways, prizes and interesting subjects to talk about not to mention the great links and tutorials we have going on. And, did you know, we have a dedicated Heritage forum where you can learn not just about digi scrapping but how to research your family tree, what softwhere to use and well, just about anything to do with this subject. I tell ya, these girls are on the ball....

Be sure to sign up for the regular newsletter. It's not one you'll want to miss as there is so much going on in it and if you ever fancied getting yourself published, here's your chance. Just read up on the intsructions in the newsletter to find out how you could get your lo featured in an up-coming issue. How cool is that?

Remeber Ladies (and gents). 5th Novemeber is the close date for this little challenge. Have a go. Don't be shy. It would make my week, heck, my year in fact so lets see how many we can get up here, ok. The rules are simple. Use any kit you like, it does not have to be one of mine and chose your own subject for EyeCandy. Can't get any easier can it?... hehe.
